Ping An Insurance's annual revenue 2012-2022

The Chinese insurance giant Ping An Insurance generated a revenue of over 1.22 trillion yuan in 2022. Although the company had a successful business year, the value of new business decreased by over 30 percent.

A business multitalent

Ping An is not only an insurer, but it also provides other financial services. Among its many business segments are banking services, asset management, and trust services, of which banking is the most profitable. In addition to that, Ping An uses associated companies to profit from the development of China’s Fintech and Medtech industries.

Brand strategy

It is not uncommon that large holdings include many different brands, but Ping An incorporates their associated enterprises with a strong corporate brand. While some enterprises such as Ping An Bank and Ping An Asset Management also carry Ping An’s brand name, others feature only the distinct orange and white colors in their logo and corporate design. As a result, Ping An was the most valuable insurance brand in the world.
