Leading banking brands in Latin America 2023-2024
In 2023, Itau was the most valuable banking brand in Latin America, with a brand value of 8.7 billion U.S. dollars. Itau maintained its leading position in 2024 as well, despite its brand value dropping to 8.3 billion U.S. dollars. Banco do Brasil ranked second in 2024, with a value of 5.45 billion U.S. dollars, up from 4.9 billion U.S. dollars a year earlier. The Brazilian neobank, Nubank, also made the list and ranked ninth. The digital bank also saw a sharp increase in the number of its customers since 2016, but particularly after 2019.
