Revenue of Otto Group selected subsidiaries from 2015 to 2022/23

Bonprix was the highest earning Otto Group subsidiary in the 2022/23 financial year, generating 1.738 billion euros worth of revenue.

Revenues and profit of the Otto Group

    The Otto Group has generated a profit in each year since 2006/07, with the exception of 2014/15, 2015/16, and 2022/23. Financial year 2021/22 was the most profitable in recent times, with the company generating a 1.8 billion profit, on the back of 16 billion euros in revenue.Earnings before interest and taxes amounted to just 22 million euros in 2022/23, a big decrease compared to the previous year at 677. 

Global e-commerce revenue

E-commerce can no longer be considered a new or novel concept. However, the major players are still finding new markets to explore and increasing revenues as a result. In 2023, Amazon generated over 33 billion U.S. dollars in Germany alone. Worldwide, however, this figure was almost 514 billion U.S. dollars. By 2026, the global e-commerce market is estimated to be worth around 9.6 trillion U.S. dollars, this rapid growth is something most companies cannot afford to miss out on.
