In 2021, the Ghana Water Company Limited (GWCL) registered a gross water production capacity of around 983,000 cubic meters per day. The production capacity was forecast to more than double in 2027 to reach slightly over 2.1 million cubic meters per day. Over 673 million cubic meters of potable water were produced in the country in 2021. The GWCL supplies water to urban dwellers in Ghana.
