According to an annual survey about Chinese women's workplace conducted in the beginning of 2024, about ten percent of female respondents believed that gender discrimination at work is one of the major reasons for the lack of their career advancement. Meanwhile, only 1.4 percent of the surveyd men agreed with this statement.
