A September 2023 survey of adults in the United States, gauging their entertainment spending behavior, found that close to 46 percent of them spend less often on entertainment compared to before the coronavirus pandemic. For these respondents the most common, cheaper, alternatives of entertainment included streaming videos and spending time with close ones.
