Most respondents around the world had tried generative AI tools at least once in 2023, though China and Europe were significantly higher in that regard than other regions. In fact Greater China had the highest overall use, with only 17 percent neither knowing or having no exposure to generative AI. Developing markets had the least interaction with generative AI overall, though they were the likeliest ones to use it just outside of work.
