The Ashes: leading run-scorers 2023

During The Men's Ashes series in 2023, Australia's Usman Khawaja was the leading run-scorer with 496 runs. This was nearly double the amount of runs the Australian scored in the previous series in 2021/22, when Khawaja was fifth in the list of leading run-scorers in The 2021/22 Ashes, with a return of 255 runs. Trailing Khawaja in second place was England's Zak Crawley with 480 runs. A large proportion of these runs came in the fourth Test of the series when Crawley hit 189 runs from 182 balls, which was the 2023 series' highest individual score.
