Public support for sending more weaponry and supplies to Ukraine varies significantly across European countries, according to a survey conducted in February 2023, around one year after the Russian invasion of Ukraine. In Sweden, approximately 72 percent of respondents thought that they supported sending Ukraine more weapons or supplies, compared with just 33 percent in Italy.

Support Ukraine until Russian withdrawal: "To support Ukraine in its efforts against Russia until such a time that Russia withdraws from the country, even if this means the war and its effects last longer"
Encourage a negotiated peace even if Russia still controls parts of Ukraine: "To encourage a negotiated peace to end the fighting, even if this means Russia still has control over some parts of Ukraine"
