In 2023, Singapore imported the most amount of natural gas via pipelines (PNG) from Indonesia with a volume of 4.1 billion cubic meters. Other Asia Pacific countries, such as Malaysia, followed with two billion cubic meters of PNG imported. Gas imported via pipelines still represents the largest share of Singapore's natural gas imports, compared to liquefied natural gas (LNG) imports.
