During a 2022 study, approximately 67 percent of online consumers in Mexico reported having already purchased via social media. Although the remaining third said they had not used these platforms for shopping, most of them expressed interest in doing so. Meanwhile in Brazil, 62 percent of respondents stated that they had already engaged in social commerce, but the share of those who had not yet used this channel and are not interested in it was twice that of Mexico.
