Based on a survey of consumers with ad-supported streaming service subscriptions, U.S respondents were consistently more satisfied with ad-free than ad-supported versions of streaming services as of May 2022, regardless of the service. HBO Max had the highest level of customer satisfaction among the selected services, with over 90 percent of subscribers being satisfied with both the ad-free and ad-funded option.
