Median subscription rates across iOS and Android apps appear to increase after the first monthly renewal, with apps across iOS and Android retaining larger shares of their paid users. In 2022, the first in-app subscription renewal rate was set at a median of 56 percent, while this figure rose to 75 percent for the second renewal and 81 percent for the third in-app subscription renewal.
