Labor force participation in the U.S. is expected to decline the most drastically in the 16- to 19-year-old age group to 5,617,000 participants by 2033 which would indicate an 19.3 percent decline compared with the previous reporting period. Participation is projected to hold steady for 25-to-54-year olds. Between now and 2033, the labor force is expected to see its highest increases in those 65 and older, and most extremely for those 75 and older.
