Share of young women who can detect online disinformation in Brazil 2021
During a 2021 survey carried out among women aged between 15 and 24 years in Brazil, 56 percent of respondents said they were able to identify disinformation online. While six percent of the interviewees stated that they could not detect fake news on the internet, 38 percent were not sure if they could do it.
