JR Kyushu's operating revenues FY 2014-2023
In the fiscal year ended March 31, 2023, Kyushu Railway Company (JR Kyushu) earned around 383.2 billion Japanese yen of operating revenues, increasing from roughly 329.5 billion in the preceding year. Belonging to the Japan Railways Group, the 1987-established Kyushu Railway Company (JR Kyushu) commenced its Shinkansen in 2003 (fully opened in 2011). The company inaugurated its new Nishi-Kyushu Shinkansen in September 2022, strengthening the high-speed railway network on the southern main island.
