Grocery e-commerce shopper penetration by income group U.S. 2021
E-grocery penetration rates have increased across all income cohorts in the United States between February 2020 and February 2021. During the 26 weeks ending February 20, 2021, shopper adoption of e-commerce was around 7.5 percent for the high-income cohort, versus 4 percent for the low-income cohort.
