When international tourists come to France on vacation, or when the French themselves travel within their own country, there are many accommodation options available to them. Holiday rentals are one of them, and French southern regions tend to record the bulk of these reservations. A survey conducted in September 2022 revealed that Provence-Alpes-Côtes d'Azur recorded the most holiday rental bookings in July and August 2022. Meanwhile, New Aquitaine came second, with 15.1 percent of the total reservations over the same period.
