On March 4, 2022, Lesotho administered 4,049 daily doses of vaccine against the coronavirus (COVID-19). The country started the vaccination campaign on March 10, 2021, with the first 410 doses from Covishield, widely known as AstraZeneca/Oxford vaccine, manufactured by the Serum Institute of India. This was after the country received 36 thousand doses via the COVAX initiative on March 4, 2021.

This is counted as a single dose, and may not equal the total number of people vaccinated, depending on the specific dose regime (e.g. people receive multiple doses)." "Not all countries report vaccination data on a daily basis. To generate this series we assume that vaccination changed equally on a daily basis over any periods in which no data was reported. This produces a complete series of daily figures, which is then averaged over a rolling 7-day window."
