Advertising revenue from cinema in Nigeria 2014-2018
Between 2014 and 2018, the advertising revenue generated by the cinema sector in Nigeria experienced an increase. In 2014, ads originated a value of some half million U.S. dollars, while in 2018 this figure reached about 700 thousand U.S. dollars. In comparison to the previous year, when 600 thousand U.S. dollars were generated by advertising, the revenue grew by roughly 17 percent.
