In the first half of 2020, resulting from the coronavirus outbreak, the international passenger volume suffered from a 76.5 percent loss compared to the same period of the previous year. China announced a strict international flight policy in March 2020, allowing Chinese air companies to fly just one flight a week on one route to a specific country and foreign air carriers to fly one flight a week to China.
