French consumers shopping and looking for information in-store or online 2019
With a growing digitization, French consumers, known for their passion for shopping were asked which channel their preferred when they bought a product or were seeking information about a certain service. Thus, looking at the purchases or information searches carried out in the past 12 months in 2019, French shoppers preferred the offline path for making purchases. Online shops had a slightly lower popularity for product purchases than the physical stores, yet it is the information search which scored high points compared to the offline experience.
