Share of farm holdings using electronic devices in England in 2019, by device type
During a survey among farming holdings in England in October of 2019, it was found that approximately seven percent of responding holdings did not use any computers, smartphones or tablets. The use of desktop and laptop computers was widespread and 87 percent of holdings stated that they use such a device. Slightly less than three quarters of responding holdings used smartphones and about half used tablet devices.
