Consumers choice of secondary grocery store in the UK in 2019/2020, by gender
In 2019/20, approximately 39 percent of male respondents shopped at Aldi besides shopping at their main grocery retailer in the United Kingdom. Lidl and Asda showed the biggest gender differences. Both stores were more commonly chosen as secondary grocery store by female respondents. Only Waitrose and Booths were more commonly chosen by male respondents.
