In 2019, approximately 56 percent of British adults who were using cannabis to treat their medical conditions were taking the drug on a daily basis. A further 23.5 percent of those surveyed were using cannabis weekly to treat their medical conditions.

*Respondents were asked to not include cannabis derived products, such as cannabidiol, that are legally available to purchase or any forms of cannabis that can be prescribed from a GP. In addition, respondents were asked to only answer positively if the cannabis is used specifically for the purpose of managing their conditions and not used recreationally or for any other reason.
Question was worded: "Approximately, how often do you tend to use cannabis for this purpose?"
