Minimum range required when buying an EV in Italy 2018

As of 2018, about one in five Italians would consider buying an electric vehicle only if it had a range of 200 to 299 kilometers. Only eight percent of respondents would buy an electric car that would travel less than 100 kilometers before needing to recharge.
By contrast, one in ten respondents would never buy an electric vehicle, regardless of the range. The popularity of electric vehicles was, however, on the rise: between 2017 and 2018, the market share of electric cars in Italy more than doubled.
