Труст мозгова

Труст мозгова, аналитички центар или ређе тинк тенк (енгл. think tank; дословно „резервоар мисли”) је израз који у најширем смислу подразумева формалну или неформалну групу научника, академика или врхунских стручњака за неку област који редовно дају стручно мишљење и савете одређеном појединцу, организацији или целој јавности. У ужем смислу се под тиме подразумевају непрофитне организације посвећене истраживачком раду и/или заступању те лобирању одређене идеје или идеологије.

Етимологија

Израз "труст мозгова" (енгл. brain trust) potiče od trusta mozgova, odnosno naziva koji je američka štampa 1932. godine dala grupi pravnih i ekonomskih stručnjaka koje je tadašnji demokratski predsednički kandidat Frenklin Ruzvelt okupio kao savetnike za svoju izbornu kampanju za predsednika SAD. Nakon izborne pobede je njegov trust mozgova zadržao svoju savetničku ulogu i značajno pomogao formulisanju dalekosežnih ekonomskih i zakonodavnih reformi koje će kasnije biti poznate kao Njudil.
