Abstract

An electronic device may have a display mounted in a housing. The display may have a display panel with an array of pixels on a flexible substrate. A display cover layer may overlap the display panel. The flexible substrate may have a protruding portion that forms a tail. The tail may be coupled to a printed circuit on which a display driver integrated circuit and/or other circuitry is mounted. When the display is mounted in the housing, the tail may be bent back on itself to create a bend. The bend may be embedded in a molded polymer member. The molded polymer member may be attached to the housing with adhesive and may directly contact an inner surface of the display cover layer.

Abstract

The problem of limited arm and wrist motor capabilities in certain persons as they relate to producing works of art such as paintings is solved by the art aid devices of the present invention. These include two forms of hollow cylindrical bodies (12, 32) adapted to be releasably connected to a table top (16) adjacent a wheelchair (24) for supporting a work sheet and limiting arm movement, a sheet of material (42) with a slot (43) of a selected shape above a table top supporting a work sheet, and a sheet of material (62) with a slot (63) in which a flanged arm-receiving roller (64) is moved forwardly of a work sheet to guide the arm through a selected but limited range of movement.

Abstract

An electronic device may have a housing with a display. The display may be overlapped by an image transport layer such as a coherent fiber bundle or layer of Anderson localization material. The image transport layer may have an input surface that receives an image from the display and a corresponding output surface to which the image is transported. The input surface and output surface may have different shapes. A wristwatch device may, as an example, have a rectangular or hexagonal input surface and may have an output surface such as a rectangular output surface with rounded corners or a circular output surface. A region of the output surface may have compound curvature. A portion of the image transport layer may protrude laterally over an inactive portion of the display.
