New Castle County Executive Matt Meyer announced an additional grant program to address impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic. Non-profit organizations working to address needs in communities impacted by the pandemic and/or organizations who experienced negative economic impacts from the pandemic are encouraged to apply.
“We understand that so many Delaware families are facing extraordinary pressures right now,” said New Castle County Executive Matt Meyer. “We know non-profit organizations are often on the front lines in addressing these pressures and while we are not able to address every need, we are committed to partnering with organizations in our county to get resources and services, consistent with federal regulations, to continue to re-imagine what our county and state can be.”
The application is available here and will be open through Friday, February 24, 2023.
This program is part of a total of $9.55 million allocated for New Castle County-based non-profits from the county’s overall American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding. Applications will be reviewed for compliance with the federal funding requirements, with assistance by New Castle County’s compliance partner, Guidehouse.
