Hockessin, DE – On Saturday, November 10 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. the annual Art & Book Fair returns to the Hockessin Community Recreation Center, located in the Hockessin PAL at 7259 Lancaster Pike. This free event showcases more than 60 local independent and self-published authors, displays by local artists and publishers, and features live performances, author readings, cos-play opportunities and much more.

“The Art & Book Fair is the place to be this Saturday for readers, writers and anyone who loves books and handcrafted works of art,” County Executive Matt Meyer said. “Come meet local authors and artists and be inspired by their creations. Aspiring authors can meet on-site with local publishers right on the spot. Don’t miss it!”

The Art & Book Fair features honorary chair Timothy Young, author/illustrator of 12 books, a recent winner of the Family Choice Award whose newest books are More Creatures and Characters: Drawing Awesomely Wild, Wacky, and Funny Animals and If You Give the Puffin a Muffin.
