UFC Fight Night 71 draws reported attendance of 5,471 for $412,000 gate

SAN DIEGO – UFC Fight Night 71 drew an attendance of 5,471 for a gate of $412,000.

The numbers were announced at the event’s post-fight press conference by UFC Senior Director of Public Relations.

In the main event Frank Mir (18-9 MMA, 16-9 UFC) knocked out Todd Duffee (9-3 MMA, 3-2 UFC) in a heavyweight slugfest. The win was Mir’s second in a row, the first time he has won consecutive bouts since 2011.

UFC Fight Night 71 took place at Valley View Casino Center in San Diego. It aired on FOX Sports 1 following prelims on FOX Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass.
