Big Fat Brussels Meeting VIII

The Return of the BFBM

Our Big Fat Brussels Meeting in 2020 was indefinitely postponed due to the pandemic and eventually took place online. After three years of hiatus it is time to gather again in Brussels for a two-day, intensive work session on public policy files. Copyright is (mostly) transposed and the main content moderation law (DSA) has been passed, but there is a flurry of reforms to keep tabs on. Let's review them all, prioritise and form small "action teams" to work on them. The files include:

  1. Artificial Intelligence Act
  2. E-Privacy (stuck)
  3. E-Evidence (stuck)
  4. Data Act - implementation
  5. CSAM
  6. Political Advertising Online
  7. DMA - implementation
  8. Net Neutrality (Connectivity Infrastructure Act)
  9. European Media Freedom Act
  10. Right to Repair
  11. Combating violence against women and domestic violence
