World Razer class

In an alternate timeline created by Q,^[1] World Razer class^[2] was a 24th century Confederation of Earth starship type,^[1] a warship in Confederation Corps service during the height of General Jean-Luc Picard's military career. (PIC episode: "Penance")

Following Admiral Jean-Luc Picard's return to the primary universe in the year 2401, Starfleet Intelligence learned about the CSS World Razer. In the 2400s, Starfleet engineers reverse-engineered the class. In the 2410s, the Khitomer Alliance rated the World Razer class as a tier 6 temporal juggernaut. Service history and disposition[]

The timeline diverged from the primary reality in 2024 when the Europa Mission failed and Doctor Adam Soong became a major figure on Earth. By the 24th century, Humans sought to dominate the galaxy. Jean-Luc Picard served aboard the CSS World Razer. A painting owned by the elder Picard depicted the ship blasting a Borg cube. When Q transposed Picard-Prime into this reality, the Starfleet admiral found it on the wall at Château Picard in place of the Galaxy-class USS Enterprise (NCC-1701-D). (PIC episode: "Penance")

Following a debriefing of Starfleet Intelligence in 2401, Starfleet engineers developed a replica of this class. The CSS World Razer (NCC-1701-D) was active by the 2410s. (STO website: Ascension: "A Safe Galaxy" Lock Box!)

The CSS Brazos operated in the year 2411. (STO website: Ascension: Ten Forward Weekly)

The World Razer was an alternate counterpart of the Galaxy class. In Starfleet and Khitomer Alliance service, its components were interchangeable with Galaxy-class starships and other Galaxy-derived classes, with the exception of three-nacelled dreadnought variants. Ships of the World Razer class were equipped with obliviating phaser beam arrays. Like other Galaxy-class and related types, the World Razer was capable of saucer separation. Compared to the Galaxy class, a large hangar or shuttlebay was mounted at the bow of the secondary hull in place of the deflector dish. The dish was attached to the ventral saucer section, ahead of the captain's yacht slot. The hull was studded with cannon- or turret-like weapon emplacements. The warp nacelles were longer. The saucer section itself was segmented along the port and starboard areas. (PIC episode: "Penance")
