Verinius was a star system, located somewhere in the the galaxy's Alpha or Beta Quadrants, in or near the 23rd century boundaries of Federation space.

The Verinius system's orbit was the location of a number of worlds, including fourth planet Verinius IV, birthplace of Carl Remington. (TOS novel: The Vulcan Academy Murders)
