Revelations (STO)

"Revelations" is a cross-faction mission in Star Trek Online's Delta Rising expansion pack. It is the fifth mission of the expansion's first episode "Delta Quadrant".

Description[]

Mission text (Federation): We've received a distress call from the U.S.S. Callisto. The signal was garbled, and there's little more than their last-known location in the data.; Get out there and bring the Callisto home if you can.

Mission text (Klingon): <Rank>, we have received a distress call from a Federation starship, the U.S.S. Callisto. It seems their researchers found more trouble than they can handle while exploring the Delta Quadrant.; Find the Federation ship and either defeat their foes for the Glory and Honor of the Empire, or avenge the fallen! Show this quadrant that not everyone from the Alpha Quadrant is weak.

Mission text (Romulan): <Rank>, A Federation starship on a research mission for the alliance, the U.S.S. Callisto, has sent out a general distress signal. Intelligence needs you to find them.; If they were preyed upon by one of the more aggressive species here in the Delta Quadrant, we need to know who it was. And if they stumbled onto something one of those species didn't want us to find, well, then it's even more imperative that we find that ship and its crew.

Plot[]

In early 2410, an Alpha Quadrant Alliance starship reports to an Alliance outpost in the Yontasa sector. Upon arrival, the crew learns that the outpost was commandeered remotely, destroying the Federation starship USS Callisto to the horror of the outpost's staff. Seven of Nine, who was aboard the Callisto, succeeded in saving most of the Callisto crew by beaming them onto the outpost, and subsequently disabled the outpost's defenses.

The Voth attack the now defenseless outpost but are defeated at first by the AQA starship. A large fleet of Voth arrives but departs the system in mid-sentence. Seven joins the AQA ship and directs it to the Turei homeworld, which has come under assault from unknown but powerful assailants. While the Voth are losing ground in an orbital battle, the AQA ship dispatches an away team, accompanied by Seven, to the planet's surface to reactive the planetary defense net.

The team finds several Turei lieutenants and resuscitates one of them, Bellas. He identifies the attackers as the Vaadwaur, supremacist aliens brought back from hibernation by Seven thirty years earlier. Stricken by the consequences of her erstwhile deed, Seven and the away team help Bellas reactivate the sabotaged defense net and defend it from Vaadwaur soldiers. The Voth lend aid later on and claim victory for themselves.

With the Vaadwaur returning to Underspace, Admiral Tuvok arrives with USS Voyager to open talks with the Turei. Seven agrees to become a crew member of Voyager once again.
