The Majestic-class was a type of Federation cruiser, an assault cruiser in Starfleet service in the early 25th century. It was a variant of the Sovereign-class. (ST video game: Star Trek Online)

Technical data[]

The Majestic-class was the longest of all four assault cruiser designs, although only due to its warp nacelles having a spiked edge at the aft section. It also shared several design features with the Typhoon-class battleships, such as the design of the saucer section and nacelle pylons.

There were two variants of the Majestic-class, the original assault cruiser variant and a fleet assault cruiser refit variant. Both variants sported 2 foward-firing and 2 aft-firing phaser arrays and 2 foward-firing and 2 aft-firing torpedo launchers, as well as deflector shields. However, while the original variant was only equipped with Type-VIII phasers and Mark VIII torpedo launchers and shield generators, the refit variant was equipped with Type-X phasers and Mark X torpedo launchers and shield generators.
