Beta Orsilak was a star system, located somewhere in the space of the galaxy's Alpha or Beta Quadrants.
History and specifics[]
Beta Orsilak system's orbit was the location of a planetary system and a world that was home to a species of rabid tree-wolves. At some point prior to the year 2288, Sally Gallan and Zot Zandir had visited Beta Orsilak and encountered the tree-wolves. Upon finding that Zandir was a traitor to her mining company, Gallan vowed to feed him to the tree-wolves. (TOS comic: "Partners?, The Startling Conclusion!")
- The stellar notation using the Greek language letter "beta" indicates that there might be a star group or constellation of some sort named "Orsilak", of which Beta Orsilak would logically be indicated to be the second most prominent star or system.
