Graphic mentioning Winrich Kolbe
Winrich Kolbe was a 22nd century Human mentioned on an unused okudagram from the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode "Up The Long Ladder", which was reproduced in Star Trek: The Next Generation - The Continuing Mission.
According to the graphic, Kolbe served under Captain Walter Granger as "Cheif Engineer" (sic) of the the SS Mariposa during its 2123 colonization mission to the Ficus sector.
He was presumably named for Winrich Kolbe, who directed many TNG-era Star Trek episodes. A captain also named Winrich Kolbe was featured on another graphic which did make it on screen in the episode.
