Vince Cadiente (14 November 1932 – 9 February 1996; age 63) was a stuntman and actor who portrayed a security guard/lab technician in the Star Trek: The Original Series first season episode "The Alternative Factor". For three decades, Cadiente worked on several series and films, and even performed uncredited stunts in the feature Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home. He was the brother of fellow stuntman Dave Cadiente and the uncle of stuntman Jeff Cadiente. He was identified as Vince Calenti in the Star Trek Encyclopedia, 4th ed., vol. 2, p. 542
