Patrick Fischler (born 29 December 1969; age 54) is the actor who portrayed Mercer in the Star Trek: Enterprise fourth season episode "Demons".
Born in Los Angeles, California, Fischler is founder and co-artistic director of the Los Angeles based theater group "Neurotic Young Urbanites". He has starred in many stage plays and has directed several musicals.
Among his acting resume are films such as Speed (1994, with Alan Ruck, Richard Lineback, Carlos Carrasco, Jordan Lund, Bruce Wright, Robin McKee, Mike Fujimoto, and stunts by Jophery C. Brown, Janet Brady, Gary Epper, Tom Huff, Eddie Mathews, Patricia Tallman, Scott Wilder, Chuck Hicks, and Jimmy Ortega), Twister (1996, with Alan Ruck, Zach Grenier, Richard Lineback, Bruce Wright, and stunts by Tommy J. Huff and Mic Rodgers), Mulholland Drive (2001, with Michael John Anderson, Wayne Grace, Blake Lindsley, Robin Ritter, Geno Silva, and stunts by Brian Avery, Joni Avery, and Denney Pierce), Old School (2003, with Harve Presnell), Win a Date with Tad Hamilton! Abrams' and Damon Lindelof's Lost (2009, with Daniel Dae Kim and Terry O'Quinn). He had guest roles in NCIS (2008), Burn Notice (2008), Cold Case (2008, with William Dennis Hunt and Erin Cummings), and Pushing Daisies (2008, with Stephen Root), and featured roles in Miss Nobody (2009, with Richard Riehle) and in Southland (2009, with Michael McGrady and Brian Brophy). Fischler had his first video game role in 2011 in L.A. Noire, which also featured Keith Szarabajka.
