History
Triton' origins and much of his past mirrored that of his Earth-616 counterpart.
Triton was a member of the Inhuman Royal Family. Eventually, the Inhumans grew weary of living in isolation under the rule of the Inhuman royals and began leaving Attilan. After defeating Maximus the Mad, King Black Bolt secretly used Maximus' terrigen bomb to trigger worldwide Terrigenesis, causing all of humanity to mutate.[1][2]
With no people to rule, the Inhuman royals left for exile in space. After years spent travelling the cosmos, Triton mutated further, becoming more serpentine and aquatic. Eventually the royals came upon the shattered remains of a destroyed planet, and the remnants of the Eternals, who had been on the planet at the time of its destruction, encased on Vibranium.[1]
Triton joined the other Inhumans in returning to Earth, where they relocated to Dr. Doom's Castle in Latveria as guests of its current owner, Reed Richards. Triton spent most of his time there during many of the various events that followed, including the arrival of the Final Host of Celestials. He left only once to attend the wedding of Medusa and King Britain.[3]Attributes
