History

Empress Lilandra teleported the X-Men to the imperial flagship of the Shi'ar fleet to destroy the Phoenix. She was forced to accept a duel of honor from Professor X for the fate of Jean. During the fight between the X-Men and the Imperial Guard, Jean's Dark Phoenix persona reemerged and destroyed everyone around her, including Lilandra, before destroying the rest of the universe.
