History

J. Jonah Jameson's history is presumably similar to his Earth-616 counterpart's. When editor Robbie Robertson hired Peter Parker as a photographer for the Daily Bugle, Jameson told Peter that the job paid little and would have thrown Peter out the door if he had come to him first.

Later, Jameson became the Press Secretary for President Phil Coulson. When the Squadron Supreme were investigating the Avengers, Jameson thought the Avengers sounded like public menaces and wanted to call a press release. However, President Coulson took out a handgun and shot him and Vice-President Ross to death. Coulson then falsely blamed their deaths on Wakandan sleeper agents.
