Solicit Synopsis
THE INCREDIBLE HULK
STALKER FROM THE STARS
FAR OUT! Who's this creature Sh'mballah who controls the minds and lives of the people of Crater Falls, North Dakota?
SHOCKING! He's not a who - he's a what. He's a tentacle-waving, electrified weirdo exiled from his own planet.
BRUTAL! The Hulk thinks Sh'mballah is cruising for a bruising. But can the green goliath marvelman beat the interplanetary baddie?
COLOSSAL! General Ross of the Army is doubtful. The Hulk's faithful sidekick is doubtful. But the Incredible Hulk is sure - he won't let Sh'mballah control him. No matter what ol' fettuccine-feelers thinks!
AN INSTANT COLLECTOR'S ITEM: THE HULK'S FIRST FULL-LENGTH NOVEL!Notes
- Stalker from the Stars is the second book in what will later be called the Marvel Novel Series from Pocket Books. However, unlike the later novels in the series, this book was not identified as being part of any series.
- The third writer of this novel, Ron Goulart, was credited under his pen name of Joseph Silva
- This novel contains an introduction by Stan Lee
- Incredible Hulk: Stalker From the Stars was confirmed to take place within the mainstream continuity by the Gamma Mutates profile in Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe A to Z #4, where Rudolf Stern, a character introduced in the novel, was mentioned.
- However, the fact that Rudolf Stern was listed in an Official Handbook as one of a number of scientists involved in gamma research does not necessarily make everything (or any of the events) from the novel canon.
