History

Grundroth apparently took over a band of Frost Giants after the defeat of Utgard-Loki. Loki came to them and offered to restore their size to them in return for them serving him for a time. Loki kidnapped the mutant Iceman and used him to return the Frost Giants to their former size.

Grundroth and his band later attempted to steal Thor's Battle Armor and destroy it so that Thor would remain dead, but they were all killed by The Destroyer which was possessed by Thor.
