History

Betty Brant is an old co-worker of Peter Parker at The Daily Bugle. Her signature could be seen in a farewell card the Bugle staff gifted Peter when he left the newspaper. Sometime later, she would greet and engage in conversation with Mary Jane Watson when the latter was invited over to the Daily Bugle for a job interview with Robbie Robertson. After a successful interview, and once MJ had departed, Betty expressed her confidence in MJ to Robbie, which he concurred.
