History
Lord Great Dagora was a giant fire-breathing eagle who attacked Tokyo. The call for help was heeded by Radiance and the Human Torch, who proceeded to go and confront Dagora.[1]

Given his nature as a flying fire based Kaiju Dagora is most likely based on Godzilla’s sometime ally sometimes enemy Rodan.
