The one who sings

The one who sings
has a story
and carries ours
deep down inside
The one who sings
gets to Heaven
turns upside down
the great Order

Be He happy or wretched like us
looking for what He'd like, like us
But something simply takes over everything else
The one who sings

The one who sings
comes back to life
regains baby
Jesus' cry
The one who sings
feels Himself grow
feels His strength through
His fingertips

He's looking for reasons, like us
asking Himself questions, like us
But something simply takes over everything else
The one who sings

The one who sings
becomes so strong
that nothing can
ever reach Him
The one who sings
had looks full of
true happiness
deep in His eyes

Be He happy or wretched like us
looking for what He'd like, like us
But something simply takes over everything else
The one who sings

The one who sings
has so much love
The one who sings
so many friends
The one who sings
in His own head

The one who sings
has so much love
The one who sings
so many friends
The one who sings
in His own head

Dans sa tête à lui>hmm in his head for himself ( he sings only for himself, inside his mind)
( Unless it is an idiomatic french expression I am not aware of)

Hey Flora,
I think that it means "in his own head" (the phrasing is not the most usual, but I believe it is to emphasize the fact that it's HIS head - if translated literally, it means "in his head, the one of his"). From there, you can understand it different ways, as you suggested - for himself, in his mind...
I also took into account the syllable-count here, hence this final choice

Ι guess I was carried away by the lyrics of a greek song " Για μένα τραγουδώ" ( I sing only for me). :)

No worries! I'm glad you took the time to check out this song and review my translation!
Michel Berger wrote most of the texts for his songs himself, and they're usually quite peculiar, maybe poetic, borderline enigmatic ^^
Maybe you'd like to give this song a try (for a translation into Greek)? The language isn't too obscure or hard to understand (I feel) and maybe you'll enjoy it (:

I would be happy to...this song was written the year I was born ( 1980) :P

:D
Ah! An additional reason to pick this one, then!
