Summary[]
Hoshi and Imai hit each other with another dual exchange, resulting in Imai stumbling back. Ippo thinks Imai should not be fixated on his one round knockout streak, and to instead focus on his opponent. Hoshi dodges Imai's incoming right while landing a right of his own. The punch sends Imai to the ropes as Hoshi follows and attacks Imai's guard. Imai hits Hoshi with a counter, and Hoshi retaliates with a right that lands. After Imai lands a left uppercut, Hoshi hits Imai with a right Seiken that makes Imai slump over at the ropes.
