Summary[]
Hoshi grits his teeth and recovers as he almost fell down. Imai moves forward and knocks Hoshi's fist that was lifted away. Imai attempts to hit Hoshi with a right, however, Hoshi lands a right straight before Imai could connect. As Imai and Hoshi hit each other in three dual exchange back-to-back, Itagaki and Ippo wonder why Imai has not used his technique and has instead turned the match into a slugfest. Sendō isn't sure what is happening, but is glad that the match has entered Hoshi's territory. Hoshi and Imai continue to hit each other in dual exchanges.
